I confess...

I signed up for another swap this week, and I haven't really said a word about it because I just haven't had the time I'd like blogging, but that means that I've been a slack swap partner. I want to fix that because I'm really loving my partner, Casey from A Girl and Merle.
A Girl & Merla

When Casey described herself to me as a "boy mom, a dog owner and a big coffee drinker," I knew we were going to get along fine. She started the blog recently as a fresh start to document life in her new home in a small town in Texas. The blog is named after her rescue dog Merle, who was unfortunately hit by a car and killed just last week.

You should go love on Casey! I'm looking forward to getting her mug swap goodies in the mail this afternoon.

I confess...

I don't know what I'd do if something happened to my sweet Paige. She's my little shadow, and as neurotic as she is, I love her to pieces.

I confess...

Work really is kicking my butt. It gets like this every October so I knew I'd be busy, but my internet keeps dropping off at the office, which is seriously stressing me out since I have multiple appointments each day that are not productive without access to the internet. Hopefully next week will be calmer.

I confess...

On Monday in jujitsu, we were working grip fighting...and we did some practicing as though we were not wearing gis (uniforms) because if you have to do it on the street, odds the bad guy won't be wearing a gi.

Having my muscles repeatedly gripped didn't hurt, but look at these bruises! It doesn't matter how much I've toughened up; that's ridiculous.

I confess...

That my friends tagging/sharing this article with me on Facebook might be them trying to tell me something. =D

Wine has saved my life these days so I'm going to keep enjoying it.

OUCH your arms look terrible!!! I hurt just looking at the picture!
And I totally agree, what exactly IS too much when it comes to drinking, especially wine?

Those bruises look awful! I'm sorry!

Hope things at work get better.

And how sad about Casey's dog!

Aw, Paige is so cute. And so was Merle. So sad :(

The bruises look crazy, but at least you're one tough chick!

They are crazy, and the thing with bruises is they look worse as they are healing as they change all kinds of crazy colors.

I'll be crazy at work until at least the middle of December. It's just the nature of what I do.

Fortunately, they don't hurt; they just look terrible.

And my vote is never too much wine.

My busy season is summer. I understand!

It is sad when one loses a family member, the number of legs does not make it less of a loss. The bruises look horrible. I hope you enjoy your weekend.

Those bruises are something else! And who doesn't need a little wine sometimes?
