Friday Confessional 3.7.14

Good morning, lovelies!

Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You'll feel better when you're finished.

<div class="FRIDAY-CONFESSIONAL-HIGH-HEELED-LOVE-button" style="width: 200px; margin: 0 auto;"> <a href="" rel="nofollow"> <img src="" alt="FRIDAY CONFESSIONAL at HIGH-HEELED LOVE" width="200" height="256" /> </a> </div>

I confess...

Yesterday, I attended a work meeting for one of the professional organizations that I'm in. I was saddened to see that in the entire room, I was one of only five women attending. Sometimes it really stinks to be in a male-dominated industry.

I confess...

There's going to be some serious garden preparation happening at our house this weekend. The Mister has been prepping for seed starting for weeks, and many packages have arrived from Amazon. I don't even recognize the equipment, but he tells me they are seed soil block makers.

Whatever that is. =)

I confess...

I had plans to start running again this week since normally the weather is really nice in March. It's been cold and rainy every day this week. Yuck, but it is supposed to warm up in a few days so I'm out of excuses.

I confess...

I am too happy that today is Friday, and we have no plans to go anywhere this weekend. After having company or being out of town for the last three weekends, I need a weekend of decompressing.

I confess...

The Mister has promised to get the massage table out for me this weekend. Yay!

I understand how you feel about male-dominated industries. I worked for 2 hardware/home improvement companies. There were a lot of nice male an female people (I met my husband at one, actually!), but still a lot of close-mindedness and sexism. I am not an angry feminist type, but I would appreciate it if people would give me a chance to answer their questions, instead of assuming that only a male can help!
