Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You'll feel better when you're finished.
I splurged on a Fitbit last weekend with some funds I'd received over the holidays. And what I've learned is that I'm way too sedentary. I guess it's not a surprise since I fly a desk at work, but I'd really like to change that. And since I wind up at jujitsu less when work cranks up, I've got to figure out some options for in the office.
We were working on some more advanced throws/falls in jujitsu this week, and I surprised myself by being able to go with the fall without any hesitation. When our sensei was demonstrating them, I was thinking to myself "There's no way!" So it was a nice little confidence boost to just be able to fall.
The Mister and I have finally decided on a our next home renovation project, and it's going to involve moving some walls. I can't wait to deal with the plaster and drywall dust. Yuck.
In all honesty, though, I am really excited about this project. I will mean a whole new look for the front our house.
New home projects mean tightening up the budget in other areas of our life....so we'll definitely be eating in more. I'm looking forward to cooking in the kitchen. Expect more recipe posts.
Brown Box Veggies starts again this weekend. I've missed box of local produce over the last month. I know there's going to be butternut squash in the box this weekend, and I can't wait to make some roasted squash soup. Yum!
