Work is kicking my rear this week. I've been in so much product training for the new exchanges starting on October 1 that I've barely been able to keep up with life. It's irritating to do more than 16 hours worth of training in a week and still feel like I'm not ready for a big transition, but such is the insurance industry these days.
My daddy rocks. He spent two days at our house this week working on our hallway/bathroom situation. The man knows how to get things done. So far, he's taken down a door, framed and walled it in and mudded it. He's also pulled up the old flooring and put new down...and tomorrow he and the Mister will hang trim so it should be ready to prime and paint. When we paint, we're going to finish up the last few touches in the bathroom, and hopefully, I'll be ready to share pictures on the blog.
Last night, I was perusing instagram and came across this picture taken by Lena B.
This little dog played escape artist three different times yesterday while my dad was here. My pup can climb a fence, dig out of a yard or just wriggle out of a collar if she really wants to go. I don't know what I'm going to do with her.
I finished up my Favorite Colors Swap shopping this morning, and it's ready to go to the post office. I've been so busy that I haven't even had a chance to introduce my swap partner, Victoria from Lost in Boston. I've been loving blog-stalking her and can't wait to see how she like her package full of purple goodies.
I've skipped the last couple months of Julep to keep more scratch in the bank, but I'm so excited about the October collection, The Rebel Set, that I even went for a couple add-ons this month. These are going to be perfect for Halloween.
If you'd like to check out being a Julep Maven, use my referral link before September 24 and Julep will email you a code to try your first box free.
